JOB SUMMARY
Seeking a qualified Pricing Analyst for our client in the Distribution industry in Orange County. This position is responsible for price planning, reimbursements, and marketing support, from multiple suppliers in support of the multi-tiered distribution network.
RESPONSIBILITIES
- Analyze the pricing information and evaluate the effectiveness of promotions across multiple suppliers.
- Develop timely forecasts based on historical sales and recent trends.
- Interact with team members to respond to changing market conditions.
- Develop short-term and long-term volume forecasting models working with senior members of the sales and marketing function.
- Analyze current work practices for opportunities to streamline and more effectively manage the pricing process.
- Process depletion allowances and reimbursements for all applicable suppliers.
- Audit and approve the marketing development invoices versus the planned.
- Set up new suppliers and products for all companies within the distribution network.
- Any other duties as assigned.
QUALIFICATIONS
- Bachelor's degree in Business Administration or related
- 1+ year experience or related work experience
- Proficient in Microsoft Office including advanced skills in the use of MS Excel (pivot tables, formula writing)
- Proficient in other Microsoft applications (Outlook, Word, PowerPoint, Access)
- Experience with Cognos or other Business Intelligence tools
